Privacy Policy

Effective September 18, 2026

StellrEdge is built to run on as little of your data as possible. This page says plainly what we collect, where it lives, and what we will never do with it.

1 · What we collect

Account data: your email address and sign-in identifiers — the address Google confirms if you use Google sign-in, a salted hash of your password if you set one, passkey public keys if you add Face ID/passkeys, and short-lived email codes. Passkey private keys never leave your device; we could not read them if we wanted to.

Your bets: wagers you choose to log so the service can grade them against the closing line. They sync to your account so a new phone keeps everything.

Service data: subscription tier and status, Edge usage counts for metering, and standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) kept briefly for security and debugging.

What we don't collect: no advertising trackers, no third-party analytics scripts, no contact scraping, no location tracking. The only browser storage used is what makes the app work (your session and a local cache of your own bets).

2 · Where it lives

Data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure (Workers, D1, KV) in the United States, and a working copy of your bets lives in your own browser's local storage on your device. Traffic is encrypted in transit.

3 · Processors

We share data only with the processors that make the service run: Cloudflare (hosting and storage), Google (the app’s typefaces are fetched from Google Fonts, and opening the sign-in sheet loads Google’s sign-in button, so Google receives your IP address and browser details whether or not you sign in with it; your Google account is linked only if you choose Google sign-in), Resend (delivers sign-in and password-reset codes, so it receives your email address), Stripe (payments — card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers), and the AI provider that powers Edge. Answers are not used to build advertising profiles, and what is sent is set out in full below.

3a · What Edge sends when you ask it something

Asking Edge a question sends three things to the AI provider, and this section exists because the first of them used to be the only one named here:

Your question, and the recent conversation — up to the last eight turns of the current thread, so a follow-up like “what about the other side?” means something. The thread lives on your device; our servers keep no copy of it.

A summary of your own logged record, when you have any graded bets: how many, your win–loss record, your return on investment, your average closing-line value, and your net profit or loss in dollars. This is what lets Edge answer “how is my record tracking?”. It is a summary only — never the individual bets, never the sides or books or stakes — and it is sent with every question, not only the ones about your record.

Board context: prices, fair numbers and edges from the board itself. That is our data, not yours.

Your email address is never sent with a question, and nothing here is used to train anyone's model.

4 · What we never do

We do not sell your data, rent it, or share it with advertisers or data brokers. We don't send marketing on behalf of anyone else. Your logged bets are yours: they are never shown to other subscribers or used as marketing material.

5 · Retention and deletion

Account data is kept while your account exists. Email stellredge@gmail.com from your account address to delete your account; we remove your account data and logged bets within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal, billing, or security reasons. Clearing your browser storage removes the local copy on that device.

6 · Age

The service is for people 21 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 21; if that happens, tell us and we will delete it.

7 · Changes and contact

If this policy changes materially, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. Questions or requests: stellredge@gmail.com.
